Convergent thinking versus divergent thinking

When we collaborate across multiple perspectives from all parts of an educational system (Practices C2 and I1), we are more likely to produce new and divergent ideas that can be narrowed down to a final creative solution. This 2-minute animation provides an overview of how convergent and divergent thinking work together to create solutions, highlighting the value of drawing in multiple stakeholders such as students, parents, colleagues, and others in any innovation process.
