Mindful reflection process for developing culturally responsive practices

Taking time for mindful reflection can help us better understand the implicit biases and assumptions in our own thinking processes, opening us up to new ways of seeing the challenges we and our students face in our learning communities. Use this activity with pre- and in-service teachers to engage in mindful reflection on our students’ learning.
