The idea of systems thinking appears in many fields, perhaps most prominently in the sciences. This introductory video (2 minutes), and the series on systems literacy that accompanies it, was created by PBS for K-12 classroom teachers to teach the concepts of systems in science. It is useful more broadly as an introduction to the idea of systems and how they are present in every aspect of society and life.
